Our alumni have gone on to some of the best schools around the state and abroad. And many are working professionals in the Twin Cities and other major markets including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
In this select program, students will be highly mentored by faculty in a variety of settings, from one-on-one coaching to a workshop-based classroom environment.
You’ll prepare for a career as a stage artist, and build skills in auditioning, acting, voice, movement, directing and analysis as well as having multiple roles in fully produced productions. Upon completion of the degree, you’ll be prepared to either begin auditioning professionally or transfer into a BA or BFA theatre performance program for further training.
We offer a Theatre Production and Design AFA where students can prepare for a career behind the scenes in theatre production and design.
In this hands-on program, students build skills in scenic, costume and lighting technology as well as design and rendering. Students have opportunities to work both backstage and as a technician creating multiple fully produced productions.
