Bus Routes to Normandale Community College

The most common routes are ROUTE 539 and ROUTE 631.
For more detailed information about bus routes, visit the Metro Transit website, or call 373-3333. Bus route schedules can also be obtained at all Normandale entrances.
Metro Transit, BE Line, and MVTA buses provide transportation directly to the college entrance. Major transfer hubs for students using buses are in Minneapolis, Mall of America, and Southdale. Normandale encourages use of mass transit by selling discount bus passes, available at the Kopp Student Center Information Desk.

Child Care

Learning Tree Development Center welcomes children 6 weeks to twelve years. The center provides learning programs that encourage independence and growth. Dedication to the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of the child is exemplified. Rates are reasonable, and the center is authorized by all counties to provide subsidized child care. Hours are flexible.
Hours are: 7:30 am-5:00 pm Monday-Thursday and 7:30 am-4 pm Friday. For more information, call (952) 487-7025.
Parking
Parking is available for students, staff and visitors. During peak hours the lots near the buildings fill first with the lots farther away receiving the overflow. For overflow parking, use the Bloomington Ice Garden Overflow lot. View the campus maps.
Fees for parking are included in your general fees and tuition. For more information on parking policies, view the campus policies.
Student Housing
Normandale does not have on-campus housing nor does it endorse any off-campus housing. However, housing lists are available at the main receptionist and College Center information desk. There is a roommate board located in the College Center/Science foyer.
Student Lockers
Lockers are available in the Activities Building for day use only. Locker keys are checked out at the Activities Desk and must be returned by the end of day. Keys may be checked out between the hours of 8:00am and 7:30pm Monday through Thursday, Fridays 8:00am -5:30pm.
Coin operated day use lockers are located next to A1560 and A1570. These lockers are reserved for EXSC classes between 8:00am -2:00pm.
There is an additional fee for lost or non returned keys.
NOTE: The science lockers are for biology students only, and cannot be rented.
