Get support to stay on a steady path toward completing your degree. We want you to finish your degree in a reasonable time with acceptable grades. This is known as satisfactory academic progress (SAP).

Academic Standard

(Standards are cumulative and include all periods of enrollment, regardless of financial aid)
Minimum Requirement Details

GPA

2.00

Cumulative grade point average calculated with grades of A, B, C, D, F, FN and FW.

Percentage of Course Completion

2/3 (66.66%)

Satisfactory grades in all courses you attempt. Grades F, FN, NA, FW, NW, I, N, NC, W, Z and IP (or blank/missing) are unsatisfactory and negatively impact your completion percentage.

Maximum Timeframe to Complete Degree/Certificate

150% of the published credit length of the program.

Applies to financial aid recipients. Program length is according to the college catalog.

How the SAP Policy Works

Every registered student receives a SAP check after each term. We’ll step in to help guide students who don’t meet the standards toward success.
