College Skills (Reading)

The Reading department can help students with their reading comprehension and reading strategies. But reading and study strategies courses can help in many other ways that will make taking classes at Normandale more successful and less stressful.

Bachelors & Masters at Normandale

You can now start here at Normandale and finish your bachelors degree here at Normandale. You will receive your bachelors degree from one of Normandale's partners, saving you $4,000 or much more. You can even go on to a Masters in some disciplines, all here at Normandale.  Graduate with hope instead of with crushing debt.

Study Abroad Programs

Studying abroad allows students to earn academic credit while experiencing the adventure and exhilaration of living in a new place. The International Education Study Abroad program at Normandale Community College is offered in collaboration with EGL (Education for Global Learning), partnership with University of Wisconsin, River Falls, and Normandale faculty led programs.

Cooperative Education

Earn credit in your work or volunteer setting through cooperative education courses. You can earn up to 8 credits in one area depending on time invested.

At Normandale, we seek information about what our students are learning in order to improve their learning, and we engage in this process in many ways and at different levels within the College.  In higher education, this practice is referred to as "assessment" of student learning.
