Normandale Phi Theta Kappa presents
Criminal Justice Expo: Reducing Recidivism Keynote 
and Panel Discussion
Wednesday, Nov. 30, 11 am-3 pm, P 0808/P 0806 - Partnership Center
Get connected with jobs in the criminal justice field, raise your awareness regarding the issue of high recidivism rates in the U.S., and find out how you can participate in efforts to reduce recidivism and the overall crime rate. The day includes a keynote address and panel discussion by people working with offenders at various stages of reentry into society as well as a 4-hour job fair. Participating organizations include Minnesota Corrections Association, Dakota Country Sheriff's Office, Minnesota Association of County Probation Officers, Amicus, and many more!

The Toys for Tots program was created to collect new, unwrapped toys during November and December for distribution as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in our community. Sponsored by SNAFU Normandale Veterans Club. For more information, stop by the Veterans Resource Center in Room C 1103.

Leadership Through Service
January-December 2017
Please share this information with your students. Earn $1,000 for school. The Center for Experiential Education is accepting applications for the 2017 Leadership Through Service Cohort. Application deadline is Dec. 1. Leadership through Service members complete 300 hours of service on an off-campus, while developing leadership skills. To qualify, students must be work-study eligible and/or a first-generation college student. For more information, call 952-358-8110 or email servicelearning@normandale.edu. "Stand By Me" Warm Layers Drive
Donate new or gently used layering clothes, such as hoodies, long sleeve t-shirts, long underwear, hats, scarfs and gloves. If you don't have any clothing to donate, non-perishable food items and food gift cards are accepted. These items will be distributed to homeless people within the Twin Cities community by Normandale students. Collection boxes are located in the College Services Building, the Kopp Student Center, and the Fitness Center Front Desk. The clothing drive runs until January 15, 2017.

Hong Kong Study Abroad Opportunity

Phi Theta Kappa Book Fair
Participate in an online book fair through Usborne Books. Funds raised through the book fair will be used to purchase new books for the Children's Book Exchange, located on the second floor of the College Services Building. The Book Fair runs through Friday, December 2.
