Normandale Theatre Department’s Production of Noises Off begins on April 26

By Steven Geller - Director of Media and Public Relations

Normandale Community College Theatre Department's production of Noises Off will begin on Wednesday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m.

The other dates for Noises Off will be Thursday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m. (ASL Interpreted Show) and Saturday, April 29 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.

The following is description of the Noises Off plot:

With opening night just hours away, a motley crew of actors race along in a frantic, final rehearsal of the British farce Nothing On. Led by a surly, pill-popping director, this case of 'washed ups' and 'never weres' are hanging by a thread. Quickly, the action blurs into a cacophony of door slams, misplaced sardines, lost contact lenses, philandering lovers, not to mention a lethally swinging ax. An audience favorite for over thirty years, Noises Off is a thrill ride of pandemonium and craziness, and a comic tour-de-force that delivers laugh after uproarious laugh.

Adult admission is $10, while senior/staff/student tickets will be $5. Season tickets are available for a discount. Please call 952-358-8884 to make reservations or email at boxoffice@normandale.edu. Noises Off is the final Theatre Production of the 2016-17 academic year. Stay tuned to http://www.normandale.edu/departments/humanities/theatre for more details.
