Los Alamos National Laboratory (based in Los Alamos, New Mexico) will be visiting Normandale Community College's Vacuum and Thin Film Technology Department on Monday February 27 and Tuesday, February 28.

Los Alamos delivers national security solutions using multidisciplinary science, technology and engineering. Its mission is to deliver science and technology to protect our nation and promote world stability.

Representatives from Los Alamos will be meeting with representatives from Normandale, talking to Engineering and Vacuum & Thin Film Technology classes, and engaging in other activities and meetings during their time at Normandale.

As part of Success Day on Tuesday, February 28, Los Alamos Scientists, Doug Safarik and Roland Schulze, will share career opportunities and discuss life as researchers at Los Alamos in two separate sessions from 4 to 4:50 p.m. and 6 to 6:50 p.m
