The Nath Advising Center offers a variety of events and workshops throughout the year. Topics cover a wide range of subjects, both academic and career related.
Career Assessments and Interpretation
Normandale Community College administers the Strong Interest Inventory (SII) and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) September-April. For details on registration, call 952-358-8638.
The MBTI and SII assessments must be completed at least two days prior to interpretation. For counselor interpretation dates, contact the Advising and Counseling Department office in C1032.
College visits are located at the front entrance of the College Services Building. College representatives from the Minnesota public and private colleges, the University of Minnesota, and a few out-of-state schools offer a variety of information about their schools. Information can include application criteria and dates, college majors, scholarships, and transfer information as related to Normandale classes.
