Microsoft Live@edu is the hosting service for student email. All incoming and returning students are expected to follow the instructions listed below. |
Each student who attends Normandale Community College is provided an official institutional email account. This email account is used for communication between students and Normandale faculty, administrators, and support staff.
All students are required to set up their student email account. It is important to initiate this process immediately so that you do not overlook any important notifications or correspondence.
Set up Live@edu
To set up your Live@edu email account, you must first go to the Student Password Self-Service webpage which is a tool that enables users to reset or change the password for their Student Email and Campus Login accounts.

Log in to Live@edu
Once you have set up your Student Email account through the Student Password Self-Service tool, there will be a link to go directly to the Live@edu login webpage.

Password Help
For first-time users, the default password for your Live@edu Email account is the four digits of your birth year followed by the last four digits of your social security number.
If at any time you have forgotten your Live@edu/Campus Login password, simply access the Student Password Self-Service webpage by clicking here or go to the address listed below to reset it.
